Our work is devoted to a new direction in orthodontics based on application of device SIAZ.
Device SIAZ was created in Azerbaijan in 1984 in laboratory OKTLIR TSMI of the Union of inventors of Azerbaijan and so far has no analogues in the world.
Device SIAZ has been used in clinical practice in treatment of various pathological conditions of an organism: inflammatory processes, traumas of a different origin, burns of different degrees, cosmetic defects, pain-related syndromes, bullet wounds.
In 2009 the design of device SIAZ intended for dental practice has been created and has been applied in orthodontic practice.
The mechanism of action of device SIAZ is based on transformation of the electric energy into the mechanical fluctuations which in turn promote occurrence of some physical and chemical effects on tissues stimulating process of treatment.
The work of device SIAZ on area of moving teeth is carried out by two ways:
1. directly (by mechanical fluctuations).
2. by dispersion of liquid medications.
Device SIAZ reduces the duration of orthodontic treatment by 1, 5-2 times. This device also allows us to save on dispersion of expensive medications, which raises the efficiency of treatment.
Device SIAZ is portable and simple to work with.
Device SIAZ has been used in orthodontic practice on 97 patients with various dento-cranial anomalies. The treatment results are positive.
We would recommend on using device SIAZ in wide orthodontic practice.
